Alarm System of Low Voltage Transmission Lines
According to the characters of lines and distribution transformers when being stolen, we have produced a reliable, economic, longevous and maintainable alarm system of low voltage transmission wires on line. The system consists of carrier couplings, on-the-spot processing nodes and the control center. It judges the state of power lines by interactive check through carrier with processing nodes and carrier couplings and judges the work state of distribution transformers by analyzing their supplies of each phase. The processing nodes are equipped together with transformers and carrier couplings are about 500 meters away. It chooses the GPRS modules to achieve communication and remote control between the control centre and each node. The control centre poses the functions of implementing the overall inquiry, alerting response, downloading parameters and dealing with records, etc. Test results demonstrate the effectiveness of the alarm system when distribution transformers are being stolen, and when the power lines are cut off, short-circuited or earthed.
