Research on Digital Hygrometer Based on One-wire Communication Protocol

In order to overcome the shortcoming of analog hygrometers non digital, non bus connect, difficult to replace each other, and badly anti-causticity, a digital hygrometer is developed. This digital hygrometer uses HIH-3610 analog hygrometer and singlechip PIC16C711 as its kernel, and the communication is based on one-wire bus protocol. The one-wire protocol is implemented by singlechip program. Every hygrometer has a exclusive ID, and shelled with anti-causticity material. It is permited that link multi-hygrometer on one cable. The demarcate is made in its interior. So this Research preferably solves conventional hygrometers problems in digital communication, replacement, and anti-causticity. It also simplifies the process of system installation, reduce the cost of construction. This paper also introduces the demarcate arithmetic, special capability, interface timing diagram, and command. At then same time, this hygrometers cost is lower, so it has certain practical value.
