A Virtual Instrument for Sensors Static Errors Calibration
Generally, the input-output characteristic of many sensors is nonlinear and affected by some environmental factors, such as temperature, power fluctuation etc. To improve the measure precision, the sensors static errors need to be calibrated. In this paper, a virtual instrument for sensors static errors calibration, based on Labview6.1, is presented. It consists of three kinds of errors calibration methods: linear fit calibration, polynomial fit calibration and artificial neural network calibration. Tests and performance analysis of the VI were performed with the data of fiber-optic displacement sensor, disturbed by the waving of environment temperature.
