Research of Methane Gas Sensor Based on the F- Interference
The infrared methane gas sensor based on the F-P interference and infrared absorption spectroscopy is discussed following to the design of infrared gas analyzer. The light source of the methane gas sensor is the tunable semiconductor laser and the filter is F-P cavity. Its parameters are obtained by analyzing the interference characteristic of the F-P cavity. The width of the detection spectrum equals that of the gas absorption spectrum. This gas sensor exhibit a substantially higher sensitivity than that of existing sensors.
