Research on Automatic Monitoring System of Ammonia Concentration in Pig House
Ammonia is one of the most important elements leading to air pollution in closed and scaled pig houses while breeding, and seriously influences the healthy and production of pigs. The paper aims at measuring ammonia concentration in pig house using gas-sensitive sensor. Variable frequency converter was used to adjust the speed of fan in order to control the NH3 concentration in pig house. Based on the LabWindows/CVI software development platform, the monitoring data could be shown real-timely, processed, saved, and queried. The result of test showed that the system could supply a good environment for the growth and development of pigs, and the subjectivity and random of manual operation was avoided, so it has good practical value and prospect of using.
