The Design and Simulation of Wireless Sensor Network for Agricultural Plant Diseases Monitoring

We discuss a technology about the design and simulation of the wireless sensor network (WSN) for monitoring the plant disease in Agriculture. In order to automatically collect environment parameters such as plant disease information and temperature, humidity, etc., the WSN node was designed which based on the ZigBee protocol chip. We have studied and compared the route algorithm of WSN (DD, TEEN, LEACH, AODV), and carried on the simulation using the NS2 network simulation software. As a result, we collect the parameters of point numbers, space between nodes, data transmission capacity under the specific environment in which WSN is deployed.
