Design of Motive Geography Information Terminal Based on GPS and Wireless Digital Transmission
Digital agriculture and digital forestry is the necessary method to solve the informationalization construction problem of agriculture and forestry. It is obvious that the Geography Information System (GIS) have potential effect on regional economic development. Forest resources dynamic monitoring and digital information sampling device used when releasing information are studied and designed in the paper. A novel embedded mobile information sampling terminal based on GPS and wireless data transmission is brought forward to achieve the functions of automatic data sampling, intelligentized decision-making and intelligent monitoring of forest resource. The terminal includes an infrared imaging sensor, a module of data processing based on ARM and DSP, a GPS system, and a data link. The whole structure of system is given; the design and its realizing method are described from both the hardware aspect and the software aspect. The system can be used in the occasion of inconveniency for wire connecting. It is part and parcel of agriculture and forestry tending towards modernization.
