Noise Study and Analysis on Different Signal Sources
The problems of noise and interference-free have been an important subject for a long time. This essay expounds the practice and experiences in studying the noise problem. Various typical signal sources are selected to compare their characteristics and the quality of their output signals. The fundamental reasons are analyzed through loading those signal sources to the specially-designed test circuit and changing a devices model numbers and parameters, and the circuit structure per se. Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS), which is developed fast and widely utilized, are the main focus. The DDS circuit composed of AD9951 is introduced in this essay to analyze the noise distribution of its synthesis signals, and several effective methods of improving signals quality are presented.
