Fault Diagnosis Characteristic Extraction Based on Fractional Fourier Transform and Local Wave Method
This paper presents a new approach to machine health monitoring based on Fractional Fourier Transform and Local Wave Method. Since serious noise disturbance exists in time-frequency distribution of the test signals, Fractional Fourier Transform is used for noise reduction. As combined with the Fractional Fourier domain filter, a new decomposition method for Local Wave Method based on Fractional Fourier transform is proposed. This decomposition of signal is realized effectively and extends the application of Local Wave Method. Application indicates that this method is more effective and accurate in extracting fault features from signals.
