Research of the Experiment Technique on the Calibration for the High g Accelerometer
This paper introduces the technique of a high g accelerometer calibration using Hopkinson pressing pole which produces compressing stress wave, and describes the working principle of this differential gating laser interferometer shock system. And the paper interprets the method of measure strain with the strain foil, enunciates the calibration formation of sensitivity factor of the accelerometer and carries through some calibration experiments in which calibration range will cover 5×103g to 2×105g.It also illustrates the principle of the displacement, speed, acceleration in the bumping Hopkinson pole process while using a Doppler laser accelerometer. It provides the tested Doppler signal and the frequency curve and brings the data treatment methods of calculating the acceleration from the Doppler signal, which will benefit the dynamic calibration of the accelerometer.
