Error Analysis of Dynamic Strain Measurement for Damage Assessment of Large Scale Structures
Strain mode is regarded as one of the most promising indexes for damage assessment of large scale structures. A new approach of estimating dynamic strain could be a simple and convenient way to obtain the dynamic strain mode. The key of this method lies in the precise measurement of the structures vibration displacement with micron or sub-micron amplitude. Based on a kind of high precision vibration transducer (DP transducer), the effects of the errors on dynamic strain measurement precision were investigated.
