Firing Dynamic Simulation and Characteristics Analysis on the Heavy Machine Gun with ADAMS
The virtual prototype technology was introduced into the simulation of the heavy machine gun in this article. The method of transferring model from CAD modeling software SolidWorks to dynamic simulating software ADAMS was studied when the dynamic simulation of shoot process was done on the heavy machine gun according to its physical model. Firing Dynamic simulation of the heavy machine gun was carried out under the conditions of single shot and repeating shots. The studying of dynamic characteristics of the heavy machine gun was made and some conclusions were gotten. Comparing with the test results and the simulated data, the VV&A was made. The results showed that the virtual prototype was feasible.
