Study on the Test Technique for High PV Rotary Seal Used in Power-shift Transmission
High PV (sealed pressure and relative sliding speed of interface) rotary seal plays an important role in wet clutch and brake. Therefore theoretical analysis and experimental study on it are very important and necessary. But testing of the working parameters is very difficult due to its small volume and bad work condition. A high PV rotary seal test bench has been specially designed to solve the main problems involved in the testing in terms of the selection and installation of sensors, the signal transmission and acquisition. Friction torque, motion state, and face temperature of the sealing ring can be dynamically measured by the test bench. It provides advanced and effective experimental means for further research on the high PV rotary seal used in power-shift transmission.
