Pixel Subdivision Technology in Tracking System
The APT (Acquisition, Pointing and Tracking) technology has become one of the key technologies in the laser communication system. Taking the intense background light, atmosphere turbulence, refraction into account, in order to increase the tracking precision, the paper puts forward the pixel subdivision algorithm to increase the acquisition accuracy from beacon light with CCD and the threshold centroid algorithm subdivision is the best method with high accuracy. As the light spot has great effect on the precision of subdivision, the position performance is analyzed by statistics and simulation, the results show that the position performance has its optimization when the light spot covers 3 or 4 pixels. In this system, the light spot is controlled in 3 or 4 pixels by defocus.
