On Cavitation Phenomenon Caused by Low-frequency Sound Wave
Since human body is a kind of non-linear medium of sound wave, the damage of low-frequency noise to human organ is non-linear, which should be explained by cavitation-effect-alike nonlinear theory. While the expansion and contraction of cavitation bubble, as a kind of high-frequency acoustics phenomenon, has been given systematical description and analysis in ultrasonics, the related literatures in low-frequency acoustics have not been found so far. Starting from the analyzing the relation between cavitation and frequency, the paper, based on some experts experiment and theoretical analysis of chemical production of TA promoted by ultrasonic cavitation, demonstrates that low-frequency sound wave also causes even more obvious cavitation phenomenon in contrast with high-frequency sound wave.
