The Direct Detection System in the Space Optical Communication Based on APD
Avalanche Photodiode (APD) owns the important position in the Space optical communication and the satellite communication. According to the trait of APD, the schematic diagram of the direct detection system in the Space optical communication has been given and analyzed its performance, introduced the construction and the multiplication mechanics of APD, discussed the temperature how to have an effect on the avalanche gain. Based on the false alarm control theory and the characteristic of Single chip microcomputers convenience to processing and holding digital information, a numeric control bias circuit auto-tracing the avalanche breakdown voltage is designed and got the optimal control to the operating state of APD.
