Design of Embedded Information Collection and Wireless Transmission Terminal System for Electric Vehicle

The embedded information collection and transmission terminal system for electric vehicle ( EEVT) can timely acquire the information of electric vehicle running and wirelessly send the information to the monitor center. The design and implementation methods for the EEVT are discussed. The hardware system is mostly composed of LPC2292 ARM microprocessor, GSM communication module, GPS receiver and so on. To the software system, the design methods for operating the serial port, receiving position data from GPS receiver and transmitting data wirelessly based on the GSM short message are especially discussed. The practical applications show that the EEVT is applicable to the electric vehicle and the design methods are very valid and practicable.
