Design of Automatic Test System for Purity of the Microwave Signal by Radio
An ATS for testing amplitude noise and phase noise of radar transmitter system by radio is introduced in this paper. This system can automatic aim at the antenna of the transmitter system and can collect the transmitting signal. The value of input of measurement devices can be automatic adjusted, and the testing result can be saved in the control computer and be printed. The principle of the passive tracking system is present. We gave the hardware block diagrams and software flow chart and the principle of the ATS. All the devices are connected by GPIB bus, Serial bus and cable. And the design of the software is based on Lab VIEW.
