In-circle Testing System Design Using Electronic Function Module Based on USB

The PCB function model is a piece of PCB which contains various electronic components. It is the basic part of the mechanism and electronic products. The components quality of PCB directly determines the whole instrument is good or not. According to the relevant test theory and practical experience, we used to test PCB with assembled component, to find the fault and take the pre-measurement during the manufacturing. It has the great advantages of low cost and quality improvement. So it is significant to develop a new and applied utility Function Model Automatic Test System. On the basis of simple introduction of the ordinary ways of PCB Function Model Automatic Test, this paper forwards a design of PCB function model testing system using ICT based on USB. On the basis of setting up the mathematic model of the typical electronic components, It applied effective testing designs and gave out the theoretical analysis and introduced the principles of ICT instrument. According to the design of virtual instrument, we build PCB function model testing system, which implements multi-function signal generation and high speed data acquisition and multi-channel scanning. The system uses the USB interface, for it is easy to use, highly expandable, with flexible configuration and high-speed. Practical testing data indicates that this system can execute the testing of PCB function model. It has a multi-signal generation; the data acquisition is fast and accurate. Multi-channel scanning switches are convenient and have good expandability. The use of new type fixture and bed of nails is convenient and credible, which meet the requirements.1
