Research on High-g Three-axis Accelerometer
When an EP (Earth Penetrator) is penetrating a hard target, in order to realize the accurate guidance, the accelerations of the warhead should be measured precisely at each direction. Traditionally, the dynamic measurement systems for the penetration process of EP are with cross-coupling errors, which reduce the measurement accuracy greatly. In this paper, a novel high-g three-axis micro accelerometer, which is expected to eliminate the cross-coupling errors, is designed and fabricated. According to the experimental results, when using this monolithic integrated sensing chip, the accelerations of projectile penetration at three different directions can be measured precisely.
