The Key Technique Research of an Attitude-Control-Motors Tiny Thrust Dynamic Calibration on the Spot
Bipropellant thruster of 10N is widely used in long-life satellites for the purpose of station keeping and on-orbit maneuvering. In space applications, pulse working type of thruster is mostly used to reorient satellites placed in orbits. In conventional thrust stand for the bipropellant thruster uses strain gauge sensor measuring thrust, it is good at static thrust measuring, pulse thrust belong to dynamic thrust. How to measure and calibrate dynamic thrust would be discussed in this paper with a conventional thrust stand. In this paper, we use compensatory transform circuit to widen bandwidth of measure system and use impact pendulum to calibrate dynamic thrust. Analysis results show that measure methods can be used to calibrate bipropellant thrusters dynamic thrust (thrust impulse).
