Multi-wavelength Radiation Thermometry-The Basis Of COG Flame Temperature Diagnosis

The classification of flames is reviewed at the beginning of this paper, together with the temperature diagnosis technique available and the state of multi-wavelength radiation thermometry. The mechanism of flame temperature diagnosis with multi-wavelength radiation thermometry is analyzed. Furthermore, the methods of building mathematic model are discussed. Since there is soot that can radiate continuous spectrum in the COG flame, the temperature can be measured by multi-wavelength radiation thermometry.
