Simple Algorithm for Computation of Low Reynolds Aerofoil
It is numerically simulated with simple algorithm that the low-speed incompressible flow over the wing section. A equation of pressure correction is established by the use of the finite volume method on structured grids. The turbulence Spalart-allmaras models are used in the simulation. Cases with benchmark and analytical solutions are used for numerical experiments and validation. It has been demonstrated that the simulation successfully shows the separated flow pattern on the aerofoil surface, and accurately gets the location of separation and the aerodynamic force coefficients. Therefore, the simulation is of engineering value in the design of the aerofoil and the wing.
