The Frequency Detecting of Gas-Liquid Two-Phase Vortex Street Based on Pressure-Difference Fluctuation Signal

The pressure-difference fluctuation method was used to measure the characteristics of the vortex streets shedding from the cylinder when gas-liquid two-phase fluid flows across it vertically in the rectangle duct. The pressure-difference fluctuation signals caused by the vortex shedding were measured in the gas-liquid two-phase flows, and the vortex shedding PSD characteristics were got through the DFT transformation, under the condition of which the section void fraction is from 0 to 0.15 and Reynolds number scope is from 1.1×104 to 2.8×104. The results showed that: within the experimental condition, the vortex shedding intensity will be weakened in two sides of the cylinder with the void fraction increasing; at α reaching 0.1 ,the obvious wave peak has disappear in the PSD profile ,and the random fluctuation appears; the Reynolds number affects slightly to the power spectrum characteristics.
