Design of the Kernel of ARINC429 Bus Measure-control System Based on Linux

The merits of embed system make its application more and more extensive, such as inexpensive, small, stable and so on. This paper introduces the design of the embedded systems OS based on Linux kernel in the field of ARINC429 bus measure-control. There are five parts make up of the kernel design namely setting kernel, translating kernel, the content of the root file, setting the root file system and setting the bootloader. This kernel has characteristic of good real time, being extended or reduced easily, and it makes the system small, compact and can support many different kinds of hardware platform. It is proved that the kernel satisfies the system demand. Therefore, we can see that this Linux kernel of ARINC429 bus measure-control system has great practical value..
