Infrared Indoor Positioning Technology Based on Angle Division Coding

Indoor positioning technology is a kind of important supporting force to robot technology, modern logistics and security. With the enormous increasing of demands and expectations on intelligent robot and intelligent cooperation between robots, RFID, as the representative traditional indoor positioning technology, has been unable to provide higher accuracy, especially in the applications that are supposed to get small-scale and high-precise spatial orientation and recognition. This paper aims at a relative high-precision and advanced indoor positioning technology based on angle division coding technology, which could accomplish real-time precise locating of any object brought with tag. Meanwhile, there isnt any negative effect on human body and environment. Using this new positioning technology or combining it with traditional positioning technology, the accuracy and the effective identification distance of indoor positioning system can be improved.
