Adaptive fuzzy PID controller designed for altitude control system
Based on matlab/Simulink and FuzzyLogic toolboxes, the altitude control system is designed and simulated. The validity of conventional fixed-gain control method, PID control method and adaptive fuzzy PID control method is compared. It can be drawn out that adaptive fuzzy PID control method is superior to others in rising time and overshoot etc, especially when there are model uncertainty and time-varying parameters.
