Application of AC Servo Controller in Automatic Welding Machine for Ringlike Seam
This paper proposes a method of controlling welding machine with AC servo controller to the level of automatization and the stability and precision of the speed of the welding machine. System diagram, interface of touch-screen, theory of locating, the algorithm of computer-programming, and main functions are introduced in the system. This paper also discusses the key technologies and solutions for them. Results of the experiment are illustrated. The stability of welding and the precision of orientation in welding has been greatly improved by the application of AC servo controller from the experiment.
