Study for Step Motors Control Based on Fuzzy Technology

Based on intellectual control principle, the fuzzy logic theory was combined with combustion synthesis thermit-gravitational separation process. The input of fuzzy controller was position parameter of molten-bath which was detected by sensor. Pulse signal was output from fuzzy controller which control rotating speed and direction of step motors after logic judging in order to keep the molten-bath remains on the horizontal level. On-line testing showed that the control method was reliable, and it reached the designing requirement.
