Nonlinear Control Investigation on Rotor-Magnetic Dynamic Absorber System

The nonlinear control model of magnetic dynamic absorber has been built. Two kinds of nonlinear control model have been developed, one is the displacement compensation, and the other is the velocity compensation. The former is obtained according to the nonlinear characteristic of magnetic force, which is used to compensate for the displacement nonlinearity of the system. And the latter is obtained according to the frequency characteristic of the dynamic response and the excitation of the system, which is used to compensate for the velocity nonlinearity of the system. The control method developed makes the controller gain change in a linear way with variation of the system parameters .As a result, the system performance has be improved to a certain degree, and the velocity compensation control is more suitable to be recommended.
