Design of digital image processing and analyzing modular based on Matlab
Aiming at the characters of digital image processing for the video tracking system, it is presented a design of outside USB collection module and its matched driver for analyzing the video tracking arithmetic, which including this modules basic principle, the controlling sequence of interface circuit, the design of USB controller and the digital image processing method of transferring interface drivers with Matlab in detail. Particularly, it emphasizes some problems and the corresponding resolving measures in this project. This module is designed to use CY68031 as periphery integration controller, which contains USB 2.0 engine inside and 8051 processor that produced by CYPRESS corporation. The infrared signals or video image signals are transferred as digital signals via SAA7111 which is an A/D CMOS chip, and the digital signals are buffered in the double port RAM using FPGA as controller. The collection signals are preprocessed if they are needed by DSP, and the disposed signals are transferred from the USB interface to PC. This modular has some characters of intellectualized management, small overall structure dimensions and its easy extending.
