A Position Servo-control Scheme Based on DSP & FPGA for PMSM System
In this paper, a fully digitized hardware scheme of a position servo system, which is based on DSP & FPGA, is proposed for servo position drives of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM).The main idea of the paper is to remove the current Vector-Controlled loop from the DSP to a FPGA, this can utilize the high speed hardwired logic of the FPGA to enhance the computation capability and relive the computing load on the DSP. Experiments were conducted on a MAXON motor, and the results indicate that the system has satisfactory dynamic and static performances.
