Workflow Model of Maintenance Support for Test Equipment Based on Petri-Net
This paper analyzes the superiority and feasibility to build the Maintenance Support of Test Equipment (MSTE) model using workflow. Using systems science theories, it establishes three-dimension systematic framework of the MSTE workflow model, and explains all perspectives in detail. Finally, this paper introduces one kind of simulation methods, and develops graphic modeling tool based on VC++. Models created by this tool not only can be executed on workflow engine by converting them to WPDL (Workflow Process Definition Language), but also can be exported as *.ex files (simulating models) that can be executed on simulation software-ExSpect. By simulating these workflow models, this paper analyzes the validity, rationality and operational efficiency of maintenance support processes for test equipments. Consequently, it carries out Business Process Reengineering (BPR) for these processes.
