Research on High Power Factor High Efficiency DC Switching Power Supply
This paper proposes a blueprint of high power factor high power supply. The power supply is made up of two stages .First stage is Power Factor Correction Unit made up of Boost chopper circuit with LCD snubber. Second stage is DC/DC converter with ZVS phase-shifted technique. Synchronous rectifier is used instead of shottkey diode to reduce the on-state and conduction losses .AC/DC stage works at 100KHZ and DC/DC stage works at 80KHZ. By adding all this, the proposed two-stage power supply overcomes some disadvantages of the conventional Full-Bridge power supply The result is proved by the test .And a conclusion is drawn that the supply system is suitable for high power situation.
