Application of Fuzzy Control to Heating Boilers

This paper presents fuzzy-based design for the control of heating boiler. Instead of analyzing the complex combustion system of heating boiler, the proposed approach uses simple but effective way to control the boiler. There is a self-adjusting fuzzy controller which deals with the feedback information and the quantity of fuel entering boiler. This approach simplifies the designing procedure of boiler controller. By simulization, it is demonstrated that control system of combustion of heating boiler has the better performance than conventional PID control method. Besides ,it has a better adaptability to the model of controlled object.
