Research on Framework of High Level Architecture Interface of Virtual Environment for Virtual Prototyping

Federation object models (FOM) of different simulation federations are diverse. To realize the dynamic subscribing, reflection and storage of object class attribute, a kind of interface framework of High Level Architecture (HLA) was proposed . This framework realizes the automatic parsing of FOM information by the application of document object model (DOM); the FOM model tree was constructed for providing the users with such information as the attribute name and attribute data type of orderable object class. The data structure of HLA interface was designed and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) model description of HLA interface was established in order to realize the dynamic subscribing, reflection and storage of object class attribute. In simulative experiment of virtual prototyping (VP), virtual environment (VE) for VP can adapt themselves to different simulative federations and receive the data solved by the simulation model and transported by Run-time Infrastructure (RTI) in time without changing the code of HLA interface.
