The Harmonic Interference and Elimination of Converter
The application of variable frequency speed adjusting technique in industrial production is more and more extensive. The key part of frequency converter is power electronic equipment, which is easy to be interfered by some outside electrics. So the power supply and power using equipment on site will affect the frequency converter. On the other hand, high-power diode rectification and high-power transistor inversion is carried out in frequency converter which cause electric current high harmonic during input and output circuit which interfere power supply system, load and other relevant electrical equipments. This is the frequency converter harmonic interfering problem that often meets in actual usage. Along with the increasing development of technology of frequency conversion and peoples attention for environmental problem, how to reduce the influence of frequency converter to environment has become a tendency. The operation of frequency converter not only need to prevent interfering outside, but also need to prevent be interfered by outside world. That is to say, it needs electromagnets compatibility. It relates to product reliability and usage safety, and also affects the normal work of other electrical equipments and system. So, explore harmonic interference problems of converter is necessary. This paper, starting from harmonic concept and combining the relevant knowledge of the internal structure of frequency converter, analyses the harmonic production reasons, the way of harmonic interfere, the damage of harmonic interfere and method of eliminating harmonic interfere, to lower harmonic of electrical network side and load possibly and reduce the pollution to electrical network and pulsation for motor torque. In additionally, the parameter of harmonic is complicated. Proper measurement should be adopted when interference resisted. Effect, price and actual situation should be considered in measurement. Meanwhile the essay shows some examples of restraining harmonic interference problem in frequency converter actual usage.
