Research on Trust Mechanism in Grid Environment
Grid is an open distributed system environment. The purpose of grid is to provide for sharing the resources between virtual organizations with distributed, heterogeneous, dynamic characteristics and so on. Security is one of the key factors in grid environment, and it is a basic guarantee to realize the goal in grid. Trust problem in domain of grid security is a hot topic in current grid research. In order to resolve the security problems due to dynamics and uncertainty of grid environment, this paper presents a new trust model. It describes the trust relationships between entities in the same autonomous domain and in different domains, and handles the two different trust relationships with different approaches. By doing this, it can more effectively resolve security problems existing in grid environment. At the same time, it ensures the authorized users can legally employ grid resources, and the information of users and resources can be safely transferred in grid.
