Inertia Sets of Some Special Sign Pattern Matrices
A sign patter matrix(simple sign pattern )is the matrix whose entries come from the set +,-.0.The set of all n n × sign pattern is denoted by n Q . Associated with n ij Q a A ∈ = ) ( is a qualitative class of matrices ) (A Q . For a symmetric sign pattern matrix A ,we define the inertia set of A to be I(A)=I(B)B=B7∈Q(A) In this paper, we characterize the symmetric 3-generalized star sign patterns and give the inertia set of a symmetric 3-generalized star sign patterns.
