A Differential Pressure Mass Flowmeter Design Based on Industrial Ethernet Interface
A design method of differential pressure mass flowmeter based on the dual processor, with embedded industrial Ethernet interface, is introduced in this paper. TIs DSP is adopted to be the data processor, realizing the mass flow computation based on the pressure 、differential pressure and temperature which got form the multifunctional sensors. Tailored TCP/IP stack and application layer protocol ModBus/TCP are implemented in a microcontroller, which takes the responsibility of transmitting Ethernet package through Ethernet interface. The microcontroller encapsulates the data with ModBus/TCP 、TCP 、IP 、Ethernet header and transmits it to the Ethernet. The sensors working conditions can be changed according to the request of configuration from the Ethernet.
