Stability Properties of Pulse Constant Vaccination Strategy in SIR Epidemic Model
Under a planned pulse constant vaccination strategy, we consider SIR epidemic model. The dynamical behavior of the model is analyzed.The basic reproductive number R* is defi- ned. We prove that the infection-free periodic solution is global asymptotic stable if R*<1.Further, the existence of a nontrivial periodic solution (endemic) is considered by using bifurcation theory.
