The Research on QoS-Based Multicasting Routing Algorithm
As an important communication model in which a sender concurrently transfers data to multiple receivers in computer network, multicast technique is mainly used for transmitting the distributed real-time and multimedia applications such as audio/video conferencing, long-distanced teaching. QoS-based dynamic multicast-routing-protocol framework is put forward according to research on existing dynamic multicast routing algorithms and protocols, and some methods are presented to solve dynamic problem, QoS problem, and hierarchy problem. First explains the principle of multicast, then the article provides a comprehensive overview of existing multicast routing algorithms, analyses several multicast routing algorithms and their shortcomings. At last, the paper points out its limitations and future development.
