Design of state monitoring and safety estimating system for motorcar

A state monitoring and safety estimating system for motorcar gear-box fault is established in this paper. We establish a database of gear-box vibration signal, apply several approaches of pattern recognition in the fault diagnosis system, draw faults characteristic information, and make a synthetical fault diagnosis. So a state monitoring and safety estimating system with the function of elementary fault diagnosis is developed. And the system needs to be perfected and establish an expert system to diagnose the fault exactly and realize the target of diagnosing without disintegration.
