Study on the Architecture of Micro-Kernel Operating System
In operating system of the micro-kernel structure, it constructs the process virtual space with Memory Map File. When the process wants to access the data in the process virtual space, it notifies the file system to carry out the read and write file operations by the information communication. It proves that, on the realizing mechanism, the process virtual space, which is in the operating system of the micro-kernel structure, is constructed on the files, however, the operating system of micro-kernel structure still constructs two models of data memory for users, requires users to design program in the two models by force. This text puts forward a new design idea on the basis of the analysis on the operating system of micro-kernel structure, namely operating system should construct the data memory model for the user on the most outer layer of the hierarchical memory, the model is unique, single address-space, permanent and distributed. As to the structure, the operating system should be micro-kernel, but can t have the loss of efficiency as the cost. And provides a new type model of operating system.
