Some Problems about Force Measurement
In engineering test, precision, reliability and stability of measured data are important problems. In particular, many force sensors are applied in manufacturing process supervision and product quality test with relation to force measurement. The precision of force measurement is correlative to measuring circuit, method, environment and data processing mode besides precision of sensor. Main factors of influencing measurement precision and solution with testing engineering practice are preliminarily discussed in this paper. Moreover, this paper presents main performance, signal collection, amplifier circuit, dynamic characteristic, signal filtering method, and correct installation and selection of force sensor. Furthermore, a method of improving measurement precision is proposed respectively based on static index and dynamic index. The effect which tested object influences on measurement precision is studied as a key problem, and a solution is proposed. The effect is usually neglected in system design, whereas it is obvious to measuring results in application,and it even results in measured data completely wrong, especially in dynamic testing process.
