Research of Call Control in Softswitch
Softswitch controller is the main control entity in NGN and the Call Control Model is the most important part in the software design of Softswitch Controller. However, the available Call Control Models are designed for the specified networks, and not suitable to support both multimedia service and mobile service. Based on the analysis of several well-known BCSMs, a Call Control Model which can support both mobile services and multimedia services is proposed, the characters and structure of this call control model are analyzed.
