Measurement and Analysis to the Combustion’s Characteristic of a New Ammunition
The caseless ammunition is a kind of new weapon ammunition, the law of releasing energy has been changed on account of adopting the foaming technology. The curves of P ~t and L ~B of the caseless ammunition were measured by closed bomb under the different ignition pressure. Four points average pressure gradient and characteristics of the curves are obtained. The combustion law of the caseless ammunition could be described by these data. The test results show that the caseless ammunition has staving combustions phenomenon on the base of keeping to the geometry burning law and progressive combustion. The identity of the combustions law of the caseless ammunition under the different ignition pressure was proved.
