Channel Estimation in Correlated flat MIMO systems
In this paper, we address channel estimation in a flatfading correlated MIMO system employing Uniform Linear Arrays on dual side. When Multi-Path Components (MPCs) is sparse in MIMO systems, the channel matrix of MIMO can be parameterized by parameters of MPCs, such as DOA (Direction of Arrival), DOD (Direction of Departure) and fading gains on each path. Thus, we design a new channel estimation method via estimating these paths parameters. The proposed method can estimate channel with better performance than Least-Square method without prior information of channel correlation.
