Simulation for Correlated Rayleigh Fading Channels by FIR Pulseshaping Filtering
This paper addresses a method for the generation of the correlated Raleigh distributed fast fading by FIR pulseshaping filtering. The coefficients of FIR filter equal to the samples of the square root of the well-known U-shaped Power Spectral Density (PSD). An analysis of the statistical properties of FIR-based method for correlated sample generation is presented in detail. Simulation shows the approach is higher efficient and more straightforward than other correlated Rayleigh generation methods e.g. the wellknown improved Jakes Model proposed by Pop and Beaulieu .
