A framework of group support system (GSS) based on knowledge sha ring
It is necessary for group members to share knowledge and communicate with each other in group work. This paper proposes a framework of group support system (GSS) based on knowledge sharing, which consists of three major parts: workgroups, collaborative component and knowledge base. The proposed framework aims to use the theory and technology of knowledge sharing to support the communication and discussion among group members, so that the group performance will be more effective. At last, a group decision making case is given to illustrate the application of this framework.
